Our room was lit only by the glow from the fireplace. Champagne in hand, I pressed the SW1 button and my beautiful 1959 Telefunken Concertino came to life. It was the first time in forty years that I'd heard those deep rich sounds from our family heirloom. This magic moment was brought to us by Tony Bartunek, who spent months patiently restoring all that was broken and worn. Pioneer SX-828 receiver

I received the  package last Thursday, spent the first half hour unpacking it (great job) then spent the next hour trying to hook everything back up to the receiver. What a joy to finally turn it on and listen to the sound. Its wonderful to have it back in operation again. Many thanks for your efforts. I hope I can count on your help again when the SX-828 needs servicing once more.

Stewart Warner R145 table radio

Just a line to let you know that I completed the refinishing of the radio cabinet some weeks ago. I have put the chassis back into the set and all is working fine. The radio plays well and is a beautiful piece of furniture...The wood grain on the cabinet is knurled. That was a surprise...it looks terrific.

Hi Tony-The radio's back together again & works great !!  I can't believe the quality of sound out of the
old thing. The cabinet must have been designed for that sound quality because it sounds totally
different with the chassis In than Out. The bass sounds like a modern receiver when tuned in to a
station. ( CKOC  1150 - Hamilton) Sent a couple of pictures & will keep in touch.

1941 Silvertone Mod. 1840

I picked up the Silvertone on Wednesday and it works very well. I can get many local stations without the use of an antenna, and am experimenting with an antenna for best reception on farther stations. 1923 Atwater Kent Model 10 breadboard radio and AK model M horn

 I made it home ok with my 1924 Atwater Kent breadboard radio and hooked it all up. I'm very pleased to say that it works like brand new. You did a fantastic job bringing it back to life.

The older gentleman that I got it from told me that it hasn't ran since the day before his parents were married, March 2nd 1932 (76 years ago).

1959 Nordmende Tanhauser table radio

The radio, Nordmende Tannhauser model that you have restored, is working like a new radio. The sound is superior to the sound of today’s technology. The station selection is working fine, tone selection with any of the controllers is working great.

Loewe Opta radio chassis

Hi Tony,
 I picked up the radio at the post office yesterday, the packing was very secure and I installed it today...it sounds great.  It has been many years since I had the chance to hear the FM on the unit All the crackling sounds that I would hear soon as I touched any of the controls are gone.  
I hope you don't retire soon because I have no doubt there are many  people like me who would like to keep these old radios going. 
Thanks again for the patience that went above and beyond competence, required to correct the many errors of the incompetent who did more damage than good to the radio in the past.
